We ran, walked, connected and won

What we did during Mental Health Awareness Week

During Mental Health Awareness week we focused on the growing epidemic of loneliness and created opportunities for us to connect with each other through a series of Workshops, Challenges and Physical activities. We know that our connection with other people and our community is a great way to combat loneliness and in turn increase our sense of well being.

Workshops & Webinars

We had lots of visitors at our Workshop where colleagues could speak to James from Aviva/Care first our employee assistance providers. James demonstrated our Thrive App and gave information about our Employee Assistant Program. Through EAP you have access to a 24/7 counselling team who provide in-the-moment practical information and advice services around issues that may be affecting you at home or at work.

Lots took the opportunity to speak to Keith our in house Physiotherapist for tips to combat anything to do with movement, aches, pains and sporting injuries.

It was great to see the popularity of the Samaritans workplace workshop and the Loneliness workshop hosted by 'iFeel' on behalf of Gympass.

Those that attended were able to grab a free coaster and book mark as takeaways for a continual reminder of our 10 Keys to Happier Living. There was also the opportunity to WIN prizes with our Giveaway Scratchcards from our partners at Gympass. Were you or do you know anyone who was a Winner?
