Gratitude Journal
As the leaves start to fall and nature shows us how to let go let us make October the month of Gratitude. Writing in a Journal can be a great way to remember a good event, experience, person, or thing in your life. This also allows you to enjoy the good emotions that come with those memories.
Firstly select your book. Writing as opposed to typing will encourge the ritual of making time to reflect on the things for which you are grateful. You'll need to dedicate approximately fifteen minutes or longer if you're enjoying the process.
Think of five things and follow this format for each thing.
I'm grateful for...
Try to be specific sharing gratitude for the simplest things for example the taste of a delicious apple, how well you felt when you went for a walk to more momentous moments, gaining the job you wanted or an amazing concert.
Focus on the people you are grateful to have in your life and try and see anything that happens that is good in your life as a gift.
