How much exercise is enough?

Just 30 minutes of exercise can help with your mental state, give you energy, better sleep and lower the risk of heart disease.  Regular exercise can also help you to maintain or lose weight.

It’s recommended that an adult should do at least 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity every week, including at least two strength sessions. That might seem quite a lot, but when you think about it, it’s only 30 minutes five times per week. If that seems too much to start with, then try doing 3 x 10 minute sessions every day and eventually build up. Remember something is ALWAYS better than nothing.
