This year we wanted to make the most of what we have and our Result's Day Tent was the perfect location to host our fourth Well Fayre, our 'BIG' tent event. We were able to accommodate even more of our Wellbeing partners and providers in a space that allowed free and easy movement for all those that attended. We were grateful to have Jane Shields and Andrew Jurd open our event, with Clarins not only sharing their knowledge of all things beauty with our colleagues throughout the day, they also gave the first 50 entrants to our event a Clarins Goody Bag! This amazing space meant that we could give colleagues the opportunity to try something new.
We started our day with a Qi Gong session with Karolina of Suryayogasound followed by a delicious healthy breakfast supplied by our inhouse catering team. Our official opening was at 11am when we welcomed our returning partners and new ones too. As well as our internal network groups, who showcased the many benefits available to NEXT employees. Have you heard of 'Drumba?' We invited colleagues to have a go, those that experienced one of our sessions found it an envigorating, fun and joyful way to workout. Our colleague and artist Amy Lenton Art created an engaging depiction of our NEXT Campus that we coloured in for posterity! For those unable to attend, all information is accessible on the Wellbeing site. We're excited to think of what we can offer you all at Well Fayre 2027. See you there!
We invited colleagues to join us in choosing to 'Pick & Mix' to select one or more of the 26 different ways to take charge of their happiness and wellbeing. Simple ideas e.g read more, declutter a room, take a lunch break to accessing support we have available at NEXT e.g download a wellbeing App (THRIVE) and the opportunity to win prizes. Three colleagues in each division were winners in our Brighter Blue Monday competition, 'You Monday'! They simply committed to taking on one of our 'Pick & Mix' and told us why and what they hoped to achieve.
Our Head Office colleagues had the opportunity to receive popcorn, a wellbeing air freshener as well as a handy guide to all the different opportunities to mix things up for 2026.
See below for all 26 opportunities to take charge of your happiness and wellbeing.
We were thrilled to welcome Alex, Jit, Gauri and Grace from the University Hospitals of NHS Trust. They visited to educate and raise awareness with our colleagues at our Head Office campus. They focused on screening, symptoms, bowel health and other general cancer information too.
The NHS team were pleased with the high engagement levels from those within the age bracket who qualify for screening and those simply wanting to know more.
It was great to support the NHS in driving this important health message forward.

Our first Breast & Chest Fest, in collaboration with CoppaFeel! and internal teams, was aimed at encouraging colleagues to perform self-checks. The event featured free bra fittings from the Lingerie team, a showcase of the fundraising range from our Charities team, and an educational session on breast cancer awareness.
A CoppaFeel! Boobette shared her personal story, provided guidance on self-checking and highlighted the charity's free text reminder service. To find out more, please visit our Breast Cancer Awareness page.
.We hosted our first Self Care Day in partnership with Holland & Barrett, featuring expert-led sessions to help colleagues improve their sleep. Attendees enjoyed complimentary drinks and soothing hand massages, with the chance for both on-site and remote staff to win a luxury hamper.
It was an incredible and successful day dedicated to experiencing self-care.
On February 6th, we hosted a drop-in session to encourage open conversations about mental health. With games, healthy treats, and conversation starters, the event aimed to show that talking has the power to change lives and to encourage us all to check in with one another. We want to thank our Mental Health First Aiders who were available for a chat, and for tips on how to offer support to a colleague, please see our Peer to Peer Support page.
To address low UK blood stocks, we welcomed Olivia Ashdowne and the NHS Blood Donation team to our Head Office in Enderby. Colleagues learned about blood donation, registered to give blood, and discovered their blood types. We are proud that 54 NEXT colleagues registered, potentially saving 162 lives.
We encouraged colleagues to discover things that make them feel good, with a special focus on colour. The event featured a talk from Colour by Lily, mindful art sessions, and on-site tote bag printing. We were supported by a wide range of new and returning partners, alongside our internal network groups, who showcased the many benefits available to NEXT employees. For those unable to attend, all information is accessible on the Wellbeing site. We look forward to seeing you at Well Fayre 2026. Check out what activities we had going on!
We embraced creativity and colour with two engaging sessions: a Mindful Art workshop led by artist Kelly Hanks and personal colour analysis consultations with expert Lily Rodd, both designed to help colleagues explore the positive benefits of colour.
